What is Nasonex nasal?
• Mometasone is a steroid nasonex. It prevents the release of substances in thebody that cause inflammation nasonex.
• Nasonex is used nasally to prevent and treat the nasal symptoms of allergiesand other seasonal reactions nasonex.
• Nasonex nasal may also be used for purposes other than those listed inthis medication guide nasonex.


Who should not use Nasonex nasal?
• Before using Nasonex nasal, tell your doctor and pharmacist if you havea viral, bacterial, or fungal infection of any kind nasonex. The absorption of thisdrug into your system can inhibit your body's ability to fight off infections nasonex. You may not be able to use Nasonex nasal if you have an infection nasonex.
• Before using Nasonex nasal, tell your doctor if you have
· a nasal septum ulcer,
· recently had nasal surgery, or

How should I use Nasonex nasal?
• Use Nasonex nasal spray exactly as directed by your doctor nasonex. Read theinformation insert included with your medication nasonex. If you do not understand theseinstructions, ask your pharmacist, nurse, or doctor to explain them to you nasonex.
• Shake the medication well before each dose nasonex.
• If your nose is congested, try to clear it before using your medicationto be sure that the medicine gets into your nasal passages nasonex. If you are alsousing a decongestant spray, use it to open up your nasal passages before usingNasonex nasal nasonex. However, do not use a decongestant spray unless your doctor approves nasonex.

Press firmly downward once on the shouldersof the applicator, using your forefinger and middle finger while supportingthe base of the bottle with your thumb nasonex. • Before using this medication, tell your doctor and pharmacist about anyother drugs you are taking nasonex. The use of other oral or inhaled steroids may increaseyour chance of side effects or overdose nasonex.
