What is the most important information I should know about Prevacid Naprapac?
• Other prescription or over-the-counter products may also contain naproxen(Aleve, Anaprox, Naprelan), aspirin, other NSAIDs, lansoprazole (Prevacid),or other similar medicines naprapac. Taking these other medicines may cause an increasein side effects during treatment with Prevacid Naprapac naprapac. Do not take any otherprescription or over-the-counter medicines, especially medicines for a cold,pain, or heartburn, without first talking to your doctor naprapac.
• Talk to your healthcare provider before taking Prevacid Naprapac if youdrink 3 or more alcoholic beverages a day naprapac. Alcohol and naproxen together mayincrease the risk of bleeding in the stomach naprapac.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the lansoprazole (Prevacid) capsules naprapac. Swallowthem whole naprapac. They are specially formulated to release the medication slowly inthe body naprapac.
• Use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardousactivities naprapac. Prevacid Naprapac may cause dizziness naprapac. If you experience dizziness,avoid these activities naprapac.


What is Prevacid Naprapac?
• Naproxen is in a class of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatorydrugs (NSAIDs) naprapac. Naproxen works by reducing substances in the body that causeinflammation, pain, and fever naprapac.
• Lansoprazole is in a class of drugs called proton pump inhibitors naprapac. Lansoprazoledecreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach naprapac.
• Lansoprazole is used to reduce the risk of stomach ulcers in patientswith a history of stomach ulcers who require the use of naproxen for the treatmentof osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or ankylosing spondylitis naprapac.
• Prevacid Naprapac may also be used for purposes other than those listedin this medication guide naprapac.


What should I discuss with my healthcare provider before taking Prevacid Naprapac?
• Before taking Prevacid Naprapac, talk to your doctor if you
· have an allergy to aspirin or any other NSAIDs,
· drink 3 or more alcoholic beverages a day,
· have liver disease,
· have kidney disease,
· have a coagulation (bleeding) disorder,
· have congestive heart failure,
· have fluid retention,
· have heart disease, or
· have high blood pressure naprapac.
• You may not be able to take Prevacid Naprapac, or you may require a dosageadjustment or special monitoring during treatment if you have any of the conditionslisted above naprapac.
• Lansoprazole and naproxen are both in the FDA pregnancy category B naprapac. Thismeans that they are not expected to be harmful to an unborn baby naprapac. Naproxen shouldnot be taken late in pregnancy (the third trimester) because a similar drugis known to affect the baby's heart naprapac. Do not take Prevacid Naprapac without firsttalking to your doctor if you are pregnant or could become pregnant during treatment naprapac.

• The lansoprazole (Prevacid) capsule and one naproxen (Naprosyn) tabletshould be taken in the morning with a full glass of water before breakfast naprapac.
• The second naproxen (Naprosyn) tablet should be taken approximately 12hours later, in the evening, with a full glass of water naprapac.

· an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat;swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
· rapid weight gain (fluid retention);
· black, bloody, or tarry stools;
· blood in urine or vomit;
· yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice); or
· persistent or severe heartburn or indigestion naprapac.
• Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur naprapac. Continueto take Prevacid Naprapac and talk to your doctor if you experience
· dizziness or drowsiness;
· headache;
· nausea, diarrhea, or stomach upset; or
· depression naprapac.
• Side effects other than those listed here may also occur naprapac. Talk to yourdoctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome naprapac.


What other drugs will affect Prevacid Naprapac?
• Talk to your doctor before taking Prevacid Naprapac if you are takingany of the following drugs:
· another nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) such as ibuprofen(Motrin, Rufen, others), ketoprofen (Orudis, Orudis KT, Oruvail), diclofenac(Voltaren, Cataflam), etodolac (Lodine), fenoprofen (Nalfon), flurbiprofen (Ansaid),indomethacin (Indocin), ketorolac (Toradol), naproxen (Aleve, Naprelan, Anaprox),nabumetone (Relafen), oxaprozin (Daypro), piroxicam (Feldene), sulindac (Clinoril),or tolmetin (Tolectin);
· aspirin or another salicylate (form of aspirin) such as salsalate (Disalcid),choline salicylate, and magnesium salicylate;
· a proton pump inhibitor such as esomeprazole (Nexium), omeprazole (Prilosec,Prilosec OTC), pantoprazole (Protonix), rabeprazole (Aciphex);
· an anticoagulant (blood thinner) such as warfarin (Coumadin);
· lithium (Eskalith, Lithobid, others);
· methotrexate (Rheumatrex, Trexall); or
· sucralfate (Carafate) naprapac.
• You may not be able to take Prevacid Naprapac, or you may require a dosageadjustment or special monitoring during treatment if you are taking any of themedicines listed above naprapac.
